• NEMBA Banquet:
There will be a NEMBA 20th Anniversary banquet held at the Holiday Inn in Boxboro, Mass on April 26th. All NEMBA members are invited to attend. The cost is $35. It was agreed that each active chapter member that attends will be rebated $10 from the chapter, bringing down the cost of attending this festive event.
• Merrimack Horse Hill Trail Day:
I know some of you were interested in experiencing the new trails at Merrimack's Horse Hill Nature Preserve (HHNP). Here's your chance to try the new stuff and help build on the existing network of trails. The plan is to start at 9am do a couple of hours of trail work. Ride from ~11 to 1. Meet at the Amherst Rd. parking lot for Horse Hill Nature Preserve. Peter will be bringing the tool trailer. Questions email Tom Vaillancourt tommyenduro@yahoo.com
• Trail Maintenance:
It was agreed that the Monday evening Trail Maintenance should run again. These nights are meant to get a small project (2 hours or less) done during the week. MORE DETIALS TO COME!
• Trail School:
A NEMBA trail school weekend event will be held on May 17th and 18th. This is a great opportunity for people interested in trail design and you can learn maintenance techniques from the masters. More info http://www.nemba.org/nembaevents/events.html
• Bear Brook Boogie
The
Bear Brook Boogie will be held on June 8th. The BOOGIE will have scheduled times for
the skills clinics, guided rides and the kids ride. The stunts will be made available again
(and be used in the clinic). More details coming soon.
